Annie Armstrong Offering: We will be collecting for North American Missions through the month of April.


Operation Christmas Child: We are collecting dolls and teddy bears for the month of April. They must fit in a shoebox.


Egg Hunt 2025: Our Glenloch Kids Egg Hunt will be Wednesday, April 16 at 6:15pm. We will have a short lesson, egg hunt, food, and dessert! Make plans to join us and invite others as well! There are invite cards available at the Family Ministry Table.


Easter Schedule: (4/18) Good Friday Service of Darkness at 7:00pm...(4/20) Sunrise service at 7:00am, Easter Breakfast at 7:30am, Sunday School at 9:30am, Easter Worship at 10:30am


Graduate Recognition: We will recognize high school and college graduates on Sunday, April 27 during morning worship. If you have someone for us to recognize, please reach out to Bryson by April 20.


VBS 2025: Our dates for VBS are June 1-5. The theme is “Magnified.” There is a volunteer signup available in the Welcome Area.


Cross Camp 2025: Our 6th-12th grade camp at Laguna Beach. The cost is $275 per person. Scholarships are available. See Bryson for more details.

Our Story

In 1902 Mr. Mitchell Andrews, with the help of his sons, built the first meeting house at Glenloch.  It was one room about 40 feet wide and 60 feet in length. He was paid either three to four hundred dollars to complete the job. The church and the community grew and prospered over the years. 


In the summer of 1949, the old meeting house was torn down and a new one was built on the same site.  The church used mostly volunteer labor with a foreman and two other paid carpenters.  The church was built for the sum of about three thousand dollars.  The new church was dedicated on Sunday, October 9th, 1949.


Renovations of the sanctuary, as well as the construction of new buildings, took place from the the 1950's through the 1990's. Our current sanctuary was built in 2010 and continues to be the meeting place for our Sunday morning worship. Reverend Neil Awbrey has been the Pastor of Glenloch Baptist Church since 2000.
